New orders and production slowed in April while hiring remains strong as unfilled orders rise. This backlog may be ties to supply disruptions in Japan

The construction sector rebounded from February’s weather-related weakness. March’11 construction spending is 6.7% below last year, but that is an improvement from the – 7.0% reading we saw in February
